BDO THREAT INTEL: INSIGHTS FROM 2022 AND PREDICTIONS FOR 2023

BDO Threat Intel Report, published recently by BDO Israel Cybersecurity Center's Intelligence Division, presents five key cyber trends identified during 2022 and five main predictions for 2023. 

BDO's intelligence experts point out that despite frequent changes and technology developments in the cyber space, cyberattacks did not undergo any major changes during 2022. However, the number of attacks increased significantly.

According to BDO's intelligence experts, globally, cybercrime-as-a-service affected many organizations, and ransomware continued to dominate the cyber threat landscape.

As a result of the geopolitical scenario, and particularly Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, BDO's intelligence experts have observed an increase in cyberattacks sponsored by nation states with political or economic motives.
